I've tried on two occasions to use the Tidal Talisman in this way, but all that happens is that the item goes on cooldown and puts my character out of bounds (up on the boundary hills) in Selbina. Just a heads-up to Nasomi and anyone trying to avoid waiting for the boat like me.
