I'm looking for more information on the fishing bug where your character freezes and is unable to continue fishing or perform any other actions until relogging. When does this still happen, if at all? |

I had it happen to me once, it was under the same conditions as it used to happen (didn't successfully finish a cast that was not a monster). |

only time its happens if i dont reel in an item or fish and the timer runs out i then need to log out, if timer runs out on a mob its fine |

Yes, exactly. Failed due to time-out. Was at the coast north of Qufim OP if that matters at all as well. I do actually recall running into the same issue after accidentally canceling a cast recently too - I was able to move but I couldn't perform any actions, and when I tried talking to the OP guy to warp home I got softlocked and had to force close the game. |

Happens with crafting too. If I am mid craft, and try to talk to the AH or accidentally click a nearby npc. I freeze and cant move or tab left or right. I can only keep synthing from my menus until I logout |

This freeze up happens to me quite often when either: - Line Breaks - You lose your catch, time out When this happens all menu functions cease to respond ie.. shutdown/logout, job abilities, cast magic, attack Steps taken to date are: alt-tab to boot.exe window and kill it with alt-F4. wait a couple of minutes and re-launch Ashita |

I had already posted this in the bug thread, but figured since this is fishing specific, I am posting it here too. Happened to see this after I posted in there any ways. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Possible bug in West Ronfarue with fishing at Knight Well. Set up: Composit Fishing Rod, Little Worm., skill: 5.x Problem/Bug: When I cancel fishing some times on a monster/Big fish, I can not control my character. I can still talk, and do /sea, /rest, but /logout, /shutdown wont work. I can access my inventory, equip/unequip items, but skills, and macros wont work. Only thing that works I noticed, is to force close the game to get it working again. It happens mostly when I fish quickly again after releasing the line. If there is any more information regarding this that I can supply, please let me know. If I could record it, I would, as I am able to effectively reproduce this bug. |

Just happened to me in Port Bastok. Hit enter just a little too early before the fish was tired out and got locked into place. |

Still happening when line breaking a rusty bucket in west saruta. Noticeable more when keen angler happens. |
