| Post subject: | enabling gamepad when game is inactive |
I'm haveing an issue with enabling gamepad when game is inactive, it's just not working, checked or not. If i tab to my browser i can't use my controller unless i go click the window and make it the active window. Anyone know a fix or have seen that issue before? |

Ok so I had this issue as well, I was told just run the config program (located in FFXI Folder > Tools US( and enabling it, that didn't work. However, I have a controller that can switch from x input to direct input, found a vid on youtube saying to hit the preprogrammed E option on the right when setting up the controller so I did that AND then switched my controller to direct input and boom it works maybe it will help you too |

Well my controller works fine in game. I just can't tab to my second screen and use it while i'm browsing the web. |
