| Post subject: | Carbuncle Debacle: Crashed in CS after winning fight. |
After Wining fight with the two Gremlins I was in a cut scene with Ildy-Goldy and the game froze. I had to crash the game, and restart. I went to windy and tried to talk to Koru-Moru to get the key Item: Daze-Breaker Charm, but he wont give it to me. I tried to enter the fight again by trading the Lightning pendulum to the Proto Crystal but it wont let me re-enter the fight. I tried going to the doors of Hall of Hero's and that didn't work. I tried going to Rabao and talking to Agado-Pugado, that didn't work. I don't want to drop the Lightning Pendulum in case I can't get another one. I don't know what I should try next. Any Suggestions? Thank you, Mjrtarget Ps. I searched the Forums for Carbuncle Debacle and only saw 2 messages from some people arguing but no solution. |

Do the event again with another person who is on the quest if able, and whatever quest checkpoint you missed may get checked off. This worked for me on COP 8-1 when I was unable to advance any part of the quest myself, but your situation is a bit different, so gl. |

This sounds like a cutscene glitch I had on that fight recently. Try getting c/s again and if you get stuck, press the printscreen key and it should proceed. |

I found someone to do the fight again. I got stuck at the same point in the cut scene I press the Printscreen key like you suggested and it worked. The cut scene continued and I was able to complete the quest. Thank you!!! Mjrtarget |
