Hello! Hopefully this isn't an odd request and is ok for this forum.

I'm new to FFXI, though I've been playing Nasomi on and off for a while. Unlike most of you, I never played this game in vanilla. There is so much to learn! Currently I'm a 44 pld/30 war, and I'm getting to the point where I can't solo any more. I started playing with some friends who wanted to relive their glory days, but by level 15 they had all stopped playing.

I've done the best I can soloing and asking people here and there for help with missions and some quests. However I'm rapidly getting to the point where I can't progress much further without assistance. I'm totally fine grinding by myself for xp and money, but I'm really looking for a friend/mentor to help with the more interesting stuff. FFXI is completely new to me, so I don't mind the grind.

I'm sort of hoping someone would be interested in doing it ICly as well, helping a young paladin progress along her path and help with missions and quests and things. I'm not sure how many people RP on this server, but I believe it's allowed? I hope if I reach 75 I can continue the tradition with someone else new!

If no one is interested in being a mentor, I'd also be happy to travel with another character at a similar level, and we can help each other out with quests and missions that can't be done solo.

Anyway, I usually play PST nights, if anyone is interested please let me know!

I don't want to sound like I'm begging, but as a new/inexperienced player I don't really have anything to trade besides my company <_<.

I'm not a hardcore RPer, and I'm not a PLD, but I'm a 75 WHM and wouldn't mind helping you out with whatever you need help with, with some light RP.

That'd be me! I regret not seeing this sooner. Paladin is my highest job here, at 64, and I've been itching to RP in FFXI. This server had a RP LS very briefly several months ago: viewtopic.php?f=12&t=863 Out of those people, Yunalie and I still play regularly. My name in-game is Lyrisse.
