Looking for a solution to hopefully the final problem I'll have in returning to play here.

I have FFXI SwitchMon installed and have UAC disabled, run in admin mode and have tried various compatibility options but I cannot seem to get SwitchMon to recognize either FFXI client.

I'm using an Xbox 360 Wireless Controller on a single screen that I'd like to dual box with if possible.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

You have to run switchmon as administrator for it to detect the clients. I use it all the time and can confirm it works great.

Did that before posting here. Still wouldn't work.

There's a thing that says when to detect, i think it defaults on switch. ie you hit the switch button and it will refresh the list. i think you can change that to 10 seconds or something. Did you try setting up your controller yet? I put next ffxi on my L1 button on the controller and cleared all other buttons.

I have my tab button assigned to Button 6 which is my Right Bumper. I can change the assign to any button on the controlelr but pressing the button does nothing, running in admin changes nothing, now refresh option works.

It's like it simply cannot detect that I have ff open at all

Issue resolved. Was using an incorrect version of switchmon.

When i downloaded the Nasomi file that came with switchmon I must of uninstalled it and was using an incorrect file I found elsewhere.

Thank you for your assistance, thankfully it was just a dumb user error and was simple to fix.
