Lately I've gotten my wife interested in the game and we've been playing together, however whenever we both zone to a different area I usually get the bug I can't see her character, and only way I've found to mitigate it is for myself to connect to the game via a VPN connection I have.

We've tried basic things like getting her to zone to an area first then wait a minute for me to come through as well, but it still happens.

That's just a general bug with zoning that happens sometimes. Easy fix: just re-zone... or move 50+ distance away from each other, then back.
