I play on a powerful gaming desktop PC. For a while, I haven't had any issues whatsoever. Then, I attempt to log into retail XI (it crashes a few times, so I give up and log back into Nasomi). Now, I can't get a higher framerate than 22. I've reinstalled the entire game, I've adjusted all the settings for the /fps addon. Nothing works.

Anyone have any suggestions as to what might be causing this? I read in the troubleshooting section that there is an FPS fix but it only works on laptops with an integrated and dedicated GPU, which is not what I'm using so I never bothered with that.

Edit - to add, I do not have controller enabled.

No, I had been using the HD pack prior to this issue and made absolutely no changes to any of my settings. It's as if simply opening retail XI/Windower screwed something up in Nasomi, and even the fresh install didn't fix it.

Yes; didn't fix anything. I may have found a workaround in the meantime. I installed just now (but disabled) ReShade in Ashita's ffx-bootmod folder, along with the d3d8 file and am once again getting consistent 60fps. Unsure why this fixed the issue. Do you have any idea if this is a coincidence or what could possibly have done this?

Odd. I appreciate you trying to help me figure this out. I should add, I attempted to download the FPS fix in the troubleshooting wiki, yet the link takes too long to respond and disconnects. Not sure if it's an issue on my end or not.

Again, thanks.
