Hey there, was trying to get the Nasomi install up and running - followed the two line instructions to unzip and begin install to C. Didn't complete the install because I noticed it stopped me from being able to access Windower/ffxi retail. Now I can't access either. When launching POL.exe directly I get the error "PlayOnline Viewer installation cannot write to specified destination folder."

Any steps on how to proceed? Should be a bit more thorough on install tips if it ends up messing with retail, etc... pretty disappointed.

Open regedit.

Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\PlayOnlineUS if you're on 64 bit.

Edit the paths you find there to reflect your Retail installation, probably somewhere in Program Files.

Is there a way to be able to use both, though?

If on the latest installer, this: http://nasomi.com/wiki/index.php?title= ... asomi_swap

If not, you also need to edit the registry.

Once the DLLs are separated from the retail DLLs (maybe soon?), you'll be able to have a retail and nasomi install side by side without issues.

Great, thank you. I can't really mess with registry at the moment so I'm looking forward to the installs being separated.
