So my wired 360 controller is completely detected in config.exe and the settings save but in game the controller is unresponsive. Any suggestions? I have nothing else plugged in and am using a Lenovo X230 Laptop.

Followed that post before starting this topic and did everything it said.

-Installed Win-7 Drivers for 360 pad (This allowed config to detect the controller, including the d pad and triggers, and allowed for me to enable xinput)
-Tried loadout E
-Installed switchmonitor and used it
-Installed DirectX
-Turned off fast startup for Win-10
-Restarted in between each step

Still no luck, like I said config works perfectly, everything is detected and settings save but when I fire up XI the controller inputs are not detected whatsoever.

The only thing I can think of is that another device's drivers are interfering with XI's ability to detect the controller, that happened on my desktop PC when I had another controller plugged in at the same time but there's nothing plugged in but this one controller on my laptop. Maybe the trackpad is interfering? I have no idea at this point and haven't found any other workarounds that I haven't already attempted.
