As the title states, I'm having issues getting the game to launch when I add the dll and ini files into the bootmod folder. I read the FAQ saying the disable the light flicker fix but that doesn't seem to work. Does anyone know of a solution aside from removing the files?

You mean the shadow flicker? If the DX9 proxy wasn't working, you wouldn't be getting that flickering, so what do you mean when you say it doesn't work?

The game does not launch after picking my resolution / starting the game with ashita. works fine if I remove the files though.

that means your laptop is incompatible with the dx9 proxy
