I want to memorialize a loved one—has anyone tried a custom memorial painting?

Hi all! My mom passed away last year, and I wanted to do something meaningful to remember her beyond photos. I wasn't really looking for anything specific but saw someone on Reddit talking about custom memorial painting options. I clicked through and found a portrait service that seemed heartfelt and not over-the-top. The process was simple, the painting came out incredibly warm, and now it hangs in our hallway where we all pass by it daily. It’s become a lovely part of our home.
