Over the past few months we have had to implement a zero tolerance party towards cheating, hacking, exploiting, scripting, any/all forms of character automation, and so on. This includes the use of unauthorized plugins/addons/3rd party applications, regardless of benefit.

The time spent negotiating, debating, pleading, distributing light punishments such as xp loss, level loss, and gil loss has not only yielded nearly no results, but has cost a great deal of time. Time that would be better spent fixing things that are broke, enhancing content, and adding new content. It is unfair to the players who join and choose to play by the rules. They should not be made to wait because of the decision of others who choose not to follow the rules.

The rules set forth here are designed to create a level playing field and equal opportunity for all players, old and new. Players who choose not to follow these rules, take shortcuts, bypass intended game mechanics, use player automation, or perform other unauthorized actions are taking advantage of players who follow the rules.

These actions will not be tolerated, and will result in the loss of their character. Extensive logs are kept and there are many anti-cheat methods in place. I may not catch 100% but I catch quite a few, so you have to ask yourself, is it worth your hard work and effort?
