Welcome to FFXI! I wonder how hard it is to get into this game with it being so old but maybe you'll see the same thing we seen when we first played :)

I'm quite clueless since it is not many newer MMOs where there's flashing arrow and cutscenes to point out what to do.

Suddenly after creating a character, there I am, in an island. Had to type /logout to log out.

If you're stuck somewhere, and haven't figured out where, there's a button NasChat at the top where you can get help from other players or the man himself.
