Anything else? I miss the old days of ffxi. I miss partying with 6 people working together to chain ITs. I miss the comraderie that came with needing others to progress through the game.
That said, my one concern is that the server may demand more time than I have to offer. I'm a new-ish dad (9 months old) and as such I don't know if I'd be able to commit hours at a time to party.

Fellow parent here. I find that I have ample time to do XP and such by just playing for 2-3 hours at night after the kids go to bed, but it has definitely hampered my ability to do end game stuff or to participate in many pre-scheduled events, as people tend to schedule them to begin at times my kids aren't yet in bed. As long as you can enjoy your time just leveling until you find players that play the same time as you or you take the lead in organizing events so they happen on your time table, I don't think you'll have much problem enjoying the game!

Thanks for the reply. My concern comes from playing back in the 75 Era and I remember having to dedicate several hours to level or do pretty much anything since you really couldn't do much solo. I have several days off of work a week but my wife and son keep me busy pretty much most of the day doing small things here and there. I just don't wanna be the "afk" guy every 10 minutes and hold up the party.
