Hey all, just thought I'd drop in and say Hi. Gonna be coming to the server soon as I get this thing all figured out. Looking forward to the old days of FFXI Tried downloading the updates from the website but it's still not giving me the FFXI drop down tab on POL so activated my old FFXI account so I can run the patcher through them and see if that will work @.@ will still be worth the $13 to temporarily reactivate if it means I can play old-school FFXI

Sounds like your doing something wrong, Shouldn't have to reactivate to play

Tried downloading the updates through the site 5 or 6 times :/ (step 3 on the list) and never gave me the FFXI tab on file check....just activated so i can patch through the actual game itself then try doing it again. Was only $13 so if this fixes the problem it's money well-spent lol

I wish I saw this sooner. I had similar troubles but figured it out and never spent the money. But anywhozit, if you have more difficulties, the people here are super cool. Which is why I chose this server over more populated servers.

Got it all fixed (in LARGE part..ok completely because of Bsp). Firing up my toon now IGN is Nephara looking forward to old-school FFXI.

This thread is extremely old... no reason to have bumped it! It's from when we had an old, very long install process.
