At any rate-- I'm quite new to the server and am already quite pleased with my experience here.
I've been a player of the game since its NA release in '03 and have been a frequent returner (no pun intended) to the title.

So what brings me here? What does some League have to do with anything? Well it JUST so happens that I run a meager, fledgling gaming community known as the Half-Baked Creators League.
And to be frank, XI has always held a special place in my heart. SO, I've decided to host a Let's-Play for MY community, featuring YOURS!

Welcome to Nasomi! You may have realized that there's several different things here from what you remember on Retail FFXI. First off, as you saw in your video: worms move! they'll actually chase you down here. Also, the FOV books you were looking for are gone, as they're out of era.

That will help you get acquainted with some of the features that are unique to either Nasomi server, or private servers in general.
