I really wanted XIV to be XI with better graphics..
It was cool walking into the ocean through the hole in the map in valkurm.
Remember:
Being a new player and having absolutley no idea how to play. All i knew was killing mobs for cryatals. and i had the hardest time picking a name and character. So glad to meet my first ls mates on the walk ways of bastok. A pld and drk helped me alot through the game and as times changed we remained friends.
