Same reason companies don't just put their products in stores, I suppose.

People post things that could be sold on the AH here, all the time. He probably hasn't settled on a price, and is interested in what the market will bring as far as offers.

Right, and I offered 2.4m, something that isn't the AH price, and as I said, if you post here you either want more than AH price, or less and a quick sale. I wasn't trolling by offering less.
