Do you know what happened the first time I went against the grain and shared info? A NPC was removed for obtaining chocobo whistle. Learned my lesson there.
Fair enough - You can pick both, because it’s America, I just meant to be intellectually honest.. it’s tough to withhold information from folks while making fun of folks for not knowing the information you’re withholding.

It's way less about that, and more out of fear fishing will be nerfed even further. Anytime information is shared on on the server the god hand intervenes. If you read between the lines, I gave an enormous clue on how to actually get Ebisu. One can choose to be a snowflake, or one can actually take a moment to read my reply carefully and discern how to get Ebisu. I like to call it being intellectually sleuth. I didn't spoon feed the answer, but I sure as hell gave enough information for anyone with half a brain.
