Just doing a cost breakdown, I'd probably pay in the 300k-500k ballpark.

My rationale is that tools are 8g a minute for sneak vs 450~600g (less for me if I want to synth them but I don't) a minute for silent oil. However, there is an upper limit to what is reasonable in terms of recouping that time. If I offered 5mil for it, I'd have to cast it literally 8300 times to break even vs silent oils. The issue with that, is that it would take years for me to see the benefit of the investment. On the other hand at a 300k price point, itd take closer to 500 casts, and that could be recouped within a year. This also ignores the fact of any time I'm not using NIN in any capacity, as well as any pertinent downtime where there is no need for sneak to begin with. This further diminishes the value of the scroll. Thankfully, unlike with mana based casting its very easy to cost out sneak vs silent oil in this case.

There is no value. Its sneak. Everyone has sneak. If other people are willing to pay more, more power to them. I want it because its a tiny bit more convenient and less costly over a great length of time. For those reasons I don't feel compelled to spend 3m-5m on it. Its fine, there will always bee more silent oils. Something being rare doesn't inherently add value to it.

So you have no knowledge of the concept, supply and demand. Good to hear. People have offered me 10M to find Monomi for them so good luck to you.
