So, I am pretty new to Nasomi, I've only been here 2 or 3 months now. But recently there have been a lot of stability issues to the point where it is starting to impact playing the game pretty regularly, with often times multiple server restarts per day. I don't know what changed but between the previous two maintenance sessions it has definitely degraded. I know no one really has any input into this other than nasomi specifically, but it'd be cool to know what's up.

If you follow the tweets, nasomi is updating pretty regularly. Last weekend there was a network upgrade, UPS's were installed, and some other stuff. Today the internet was upgraded. However it seems that the ISP is a bit rocky. This has happened in the past, the isp does weird stuff, it gets a bit rocky for a couple days. The issues go away, then it's fine for months on end.

The servers only been like this for a couple days. Last night it was working fine. We can only hope it's a temporary thing.

He said he identified the issue earlier. Verizon changed the DHCP packet. So when the router does it's DHCP thing, it flips out. He resets it, everything is ok for a while. He said he's trying to reconstruct the packet to be how verizon is expecting the new setup.

Thanks for the info Pepsi. This stuff definitely makes me optimistic, hope he can get it all sorted out. Otherwise, Verizon can go kick rocks.

I've been here over 3 years. Verizon does something like this on average once a year. It sucks, but nas always gets it sorted out.
