People are way nicer and, on average, a whole lotta more willing to go out of their way to help out new players on here than they ever were in retail.

Back in Zilaart/Cop era people were hecking ruthless; as a general rule of thumb, you had a bunch of mates you leveled up with and then your LS buddies to rely upon and whoever didn't belong to those groups was an all around cutthroat asshole, for the most part.

People used to argue on allakhazam/KI for months and hold grudges toward each other for years on end over the pettiest shit, cheating/exploiting/gilselling were rampant, shit-talking was the norm, holier-than-thou attitude widespread... heck, the BlueGartr wiki got an entire "XI drama" category... Nasomi is hecking kindergarten in comparison, real talk.

Honestly, I haven't been playing long but I've been fishing a while and every time I hang out in a fishing spot with someone they're very friendly and mildly chatty. It makes for a very nice experience.

The parties I've been in have all been friendly too, though there's the occasional snarky person.

Overall though for a private server I don't think I could ask for better, 10/10 here so far!

I'd say 5/10. Above average compared to Moba communities and about average for MMO communities.
