As far as I remember hearing, only PW items at the moment. I don't know for sure if that means the other items will all get kept, but I suspect he is hesitant to remove too much gear from people. It's a catch 22- if he gives no compensation people feel shafted, he can't give gil because it will F up the economy, and he can't pass out too many pop items because they will be devalued.
Yea, not exactly an easy thing to navigate. I know he's touchy about the gil thing, and even if he only gave the some 300-odd people w/ Hachi body 1M that's flooding 300M in. And there's a lot of lesser ZNM gear out there too. Would be more disastrous than beneficial. Pop items wouldn't be too terrible I would think, I mean he did suggest a 50 or 100k price from the NPC if he goes that route, I don't think they'll be too tough to come across.
I'm down with whatever he does with em, I just like to stay in the loop. What little ZNM gear I have won't be difficult to re-earn since the mobs will be appropriate levels and not 99 cap. I'll be extra excited if it means having a chance at Aurum Armet/Cuirass as well. I could put those to use.
