Exactly.. people don't understand the concept of "time is money".. That chocobo can save you 20 or even 30 minutes of running. If you can farm even a conservative 30k an hour, and that chocobo costs you 5k, you're literally making more money by paying the 5k to have more time to farm later. And I only see 5k chocobos in ToAU, which doesn't get that high anymore very often.

People who do these long ass runs to avoid paying the chocobo confuse me.

Mea chocobo seems as broken as it was in retail, i remember SE had to pa tch that one specifically b/c it would reach 12k per bird during peak inflation. The other day here I think i saw mea chocobo at 2.7k, so seems about right.

Yea he literally answered your post in a stream before you ever made it. Gil sinks are good. You won't convince him otherwise. Because he isn't wrong. Your concern and dramatization on this tiny tax of convenience is a little silly. Get over it.

Back when I first started chocobo prices being 2-3k after paying 1-2k for a tele were tough for me. If they were over 1k I'd just run there. Then I decided I didn't want to be broke anymore and spent 2-3 weeks farming and now I'm doing ok. Those prices are tough when you are only sitting on 10-20k gil.


Honestly though chocobo prices are a non issue for me just due to the fact of how easy outpost warps are, I played for years in retail and never utilized outposts, glad I have almost all of them now.
