i took the idea of global sync for granted, i've got a buddy who works and doesn't like partying with randoms and he could play with our group that way

i know most people will sit in dunes foreverial though so that will never happen, plus it's not in era, etc.

but since we're talking about sync ranges and low pop that's my negligible amount on it. more relevant on topic i don't think since ninja streamed the server has gotten into 15 sync range outside of post-reboot when everyone's mules get knocked offline. i know when i started in whatever my joined date says it was regularly 15-20 sync range at late night

That's been discussed ad nauseam. The short answer is: If he did that, the formula that determines the sync range would just be dropped too. The current formula is set where it's at, because of how many mules there are.
