New players are something that we tend to not embrace as much we should. It wasn't hard on me at all to progress here, much easier than it was in retail for sure. I'd like it if it was like that for everyone and again, I don't really understand the need for this change.
Nas has made the decision that he wants XP rings to be used during events and special occasions, so he has kept the 15 minute cooldown.
Era accurate XP rings would be generally available, but have a 16 hour cooldown in between uses.
Unless you're just only going to level your low level jobs when you have a band available, this makes extremely minimal difference on the 1-12 process.
