7/26/2020: went 0/18 for oxblood from 3,2,1. Got 5 or so peiste. If he did update drop tables for foulard, oxblood was not affected here.

Maybe Idol Thoughts is where you have to go for oxblood but seems like it's rare there too.

Not entirely sure why make Peiste leather a common drop while making oxblood unbelievably rare. Other than just to troll I guess lol

I've still never managed to take one down, but I've heard a few people have had success just mobbing it with SMNs (and a THF, I'd assume) rotating Poison Nails as it chomps Carbuncles down in a single hit. This was back before enmity adjustments were made on summoning/blood pact actions, though, so not sure how well it'd really work anymore. I've always been curious about what might happen if you went 5x MNK + THF, buffed them all up with BRD / COR / SMN first zerg-style (aerial armor, rolling thunder, atk/eva? maybe) and had them try and Hundred Fist it. It'd probably end terribly as they all go down in one hit, but it'd sure be fun. I'd 100% be willing to throw my corpse at them to see what happens :)

Did another 12 runs of idol with no ox orb. Maybe it's the same drop rate as 321? need more data to confirm.
