How does one go about getting a party for dunes?
i got my Warrior and Red Mage to 13 as needed for dunes, and made my way to the outpost.
ive tried flagging up for party, Typing in chat, Looking in /sea 10-25 for anyone else flagged(no one. everyone is just afk or selling something). i even went back to town asking in chat for any answers(i got told to do /sea 10-25 again). Im i just playing at a bad time of day? (5:46PM GMT - 7). all i see is 50-75s just hanging out. i feel like im missing something important

Ignore my join date, i just started last week.

The level 75s are there doing some high level stuff or selling items.
At this level its kinda hard to get parties, especially being a Redmage, but as soon as you get higher level youll be getting invites like crazy.
The dunes are tough too, a lot of us newbie players still ironing out the wrinkles.

You should go where the parties are camping E7- D7 and be at the ready, As soon as someone leaves a party they want to replace them immediately. Be the next guy.
Make your own party, Menu > Party > Find Member. Get a Tank. a Healer and a few damage dealers.

It can be hit-or-miss, especially on weekdays. The server seems to be heavily-centered around the US Eastern timezone, with Fri/Sat/Sun being the most active (figure that a large chunk of the population are now older folks with families that are trying to re-live the glory days lol)

Don't give up hope, don't be afraid to start your own parties, or heck, if the party situation is looking bleak go run amok through some EP/DC mobs for a while as a dualbox and have some fun in the process

GMT 22:00 is when the server gets more active in my experience as far as EXP parties. It's rough especially early game. Once you get into your mid twenties with a subjob you'll get invites way easier as a rdm.

Do /sea all, not just /sea, that way you can search all areas.

I'm not sure if you're using /sea to its full potential.

/sea all inv 12-23

This will show you all people seeking party between level 12 and 23, for example.

I would suggest killing Easy Prey in Konschtat Highlands or La Theine Plateau while you have your flag up/search for others. If you hit one good party, you could end up 18 and ready to unlock subjob before you know it.

best thing i can suggest is get in a social LS, alot of times people make parties with their LS first and only need 1/2 people to fill the rest of the party
