Hi, I'm having trouble getting the San d'Oria quest "A Timely Visit" to begin. Talking to the listed NPC Deraquien just gives his standard bit of dialogue.

The quest is stated as needing lvl 3 reputation, which I've already confirmed I have by triggering and completing another quest listed as needing lvl 3 repuation (namely Black Tiger Skins). I also have the necessary rank to enter Chateau d'Oraguille, which is required for one of the steps in the quest. So I don't believe either of those are the issue.

If anyone has any suggestions on how to fix the problem, or any extra information I may be missing about this quest, please let me know. Thank you.

While the vast majority of quests do seem to be working, there are a few that just don't. It does actually seem to be ones with poor rewards were neglected like this one.

I can't give confirmation on if this is able to be completed but this is one of those quests that often comes up in chat and written off as broken. Also there are no Medieval collars ever sold so that is usually how I confirm (not the best I know) if a quest that has a unbound reward is working or not.

That the quest is at Rep 4. Meanwhile, I tried to engage Black Tiger Skins. I checked fame checker in Sandy and found out that I am at Rank 5. Tried talking to the Mithra and she still does request for Lizard Skins even if I completed it and I exceeded the requirement. Are the fame checkers broken?

It's noted somewhere either on the forum or the wiki that the reputation NPC's are not reporting fame correctly.
