Those are ridiculously expensive to me, but i haven't touched a controller for a game in months. In fact I've only used it for two games in the last 7 or 8 years. That elite does look nice though and if you use a controller daily it's probably a good deal.

Still using my original PS2 controller that I used when the game launched in North America. PS2 controller with an adapter

Mouse and keyboard. I've tried multiple times using a controller, even just an Xbox one/360 with easy driver install, but I can never get the right analog stick to work (camera control), even going through the whole controller setup. The program just doesn't recognize that analog stick for me. All other buttons work though.

You tried to tick of the small boxes inside ffxipadsetup.exe ? on the right side ... At work now so dont memeber what theyr called.. but they will "unlock" camera trigers etc.

I use the same controller I used back in retail... a PS2 controller with a Radio Shack USB adapter. It's kinda cumbersome though, I've thought about picking up a wireless XBox One controller to replace it.

My XboxOne controller doesn't seem to be working for this game. Is there some trick to setting it up? Do I need to use mouse/keyboard until I get into the game, and then configure a controller or something?

Oh I remember now, you need to run the config tool outside of the game. Doh!
