I see no issue with growing the population: the more people we get, the more and more this becomes a truly in-era server. Remember: Nas did mention a couple of new CPU's he's yet to install in his last stream: if he puts those babies in and stuff improves then he's set a precedent that he's willing to shell out the coin for hardware improvements if they indeed work to fix issues. Grow the population, create the demand for hardware upgrades, and they will come.
Yeah he has been sitting on them for nearly 7 months now with no end in sight. Color me skeptical on the timely improvements.
I started on the server in 2014, leveled to 75, did some end game and quit before the population reached much over 100. There was SIGNIFICANT issues back then. I recently came back in January and it was like a completely different game to me. There have been so many fixes and upgrades over the last few years and I hope they are continued to be made but it's slow going. That being said promises for fixes of content back in 2014 have still yet to be fulfilled.
If nasomi needs funds to upgrade the server he has a large playerbase that would happily donate, i myself am rich as fuk and would love to help the server anyway i could : )

More players more problems.
There is 100% a dot on the utility curve for players. I think if you have minimal issues finding a party and people to do content with, then that's probably enough players. Everything else like the economy will scale around that figure.
Having 3k+ players won't make your experience any better, and only serves to make it worse. The more the merrier is a trash sentiment.
Disagree, the best part about this server is the high pop, seeing people everywhere, selling stuff on the ah very quickly, filling parties fast, hell even dying right near a zoneline and knowing if you get up to make coffee someone will pity raise you within 10 mins is amazing.
