That's cool that they didn't bother you but my friend said he got it 1 day earlier and did the /dance cause he was checking the chat and then the next day got the same thing from the same person.... If you wanted to be a dick, you could just keep reporting people in those zones and get legit people banned. Seems like a really shitty way to do it imo, but hey it is what it is. Good to get the knowledge out there so people know to read the chat if fishing, lest you lose many years of investment.

The interaction is only way to determine if someone is not a bot. Easy to script when you receive a tell from a [GM] to have a canned response and stop fishing. Not that hard to figure out.

Also, curious how using a controller eliminates the need to look at a screen despite needing to do a mini game and seeing when the stamina bar is depleted. Fishy to say the least.

You can sit far enough back that you can easily see the arrows and not the text while watching tv or doing other things. Have you never use peripheral vision? It's not that complicated.

For sure - this is something that people should definitely do now that we know for sure 'GM''s are going around telling fisher's and expecting responses within a minute. I agree that people should use this thread to know that setting up a tell alert and blasting the sound is more or less mandatory (specifically when fishing in qufim or sauro). I'm not saying there's anything wrong with the method per se, just that it can suck when you don't know a method is implemented until it's too late.
