Dang, this kinda makes me sad. I'm going to have to stop doing this as I don't like having ANY chance of getting jailed/deleted. I will miss giving random strangers with red question marks 20k on my way in to town...

Have given out 10's of millions of gil to new people and during unique events in random places I've hosted. You won't get banned as long as what you gave out is legit.

you never got banned. you got jailed while he looked into it. It's standard procedure when investigates things. easier to assume you cheated and find out for sure you didnt than to assume you didn't and find out that you did and then have more work to do to clean the mess up.
