Mechanics of AV are well documented and widely accessible, so Deadwing being the person to code it with some supposed advantage being dumb at best aside, it seems to me all you guys managed to do is go in unprepared, and inadequately educated for the situation at hand.

I've seen Linkshells with 80% less relic weapons, and lower quality gear perform better than whatever the hell this was.

Don't know anyone, but he's prolly right. Doubt some dude is going to put in a secret feature on a well-known NM. Just google.com AV and test. In their defense, it doesn't help there is a limited player selection on a private server so you sort of need to work with those willing to the put time in despite the majority being subpar players. Most probably just nonchalantly show up and await direction from a select few (which is fine, this is FFXI, but still suboptimal for progression).

This was the last 10 minutes of about 2 hours of overall fighting/testing.

As for the mechanics of AV and our preparation, we are well aware of all the information out there about the fight. There are many great resources out there that will help us a lot. However, we have already identified 3 things different from retail, and will require adjustments in strategy. Maybe if you hadn't lost 10 levels and all the gear on SOMEONE ELSE'S character (Zumis) you'd be in a position to learn some of this stuff too, instead of shitposting more than half a year after the fact.
