Oh, I see what you guys think is going on. I had not been keeping up with that testing thread and just noticed you deleted an enormous amount of the formula stuff from the wiki. Is wolf allowed to craft without exploiting now or?

He's attempting to troll me without realizing that I was right. It's okay, I'm a good sport .. especially when I'm correct. It does seem that crafting told everyone "git gud" though.

edit: and, again, yeah.. it is exploiting, it's just not exploiting a bug. nuance killed the radio star, i think, is the how the song went.

Maybe wrong thread but it is about crafting since update....I have noticed my fail synths lately have been getting hit hard. Before if I failed for instance in making a silver ingot. I would lose 1-2 ores...a really bad one would net 3 or all 4 ores lost and rarely I wouldn't lose anything. Now, I am almost 10 levels above the cap for silver ingots...However, I have failed a few times and not once has it been less than 3 ores lost, and most of the time it is all 4 ores lost. Is this something others are experiencing or am I just hitting a really really really bad patch of bad luck?

The 5% base fail rate may have become a 5% base crit fail rate.

Ok to summarize changes:

-Subcrafts must now also be leveled to HQ.
-Moon phase, day, direction no longer give extra HQ above retail rates.
-Instead, they are now NECESSARY to reach retail rates.
-You now crit fail more on top of all this.

This is a massive nerf.

We don't know the subcraft thing for sure yet. It may have just looked that way due to the other changes.

There is also no 0% HQ tiers now.

The subcraft thing was the first thing I discovered. Synths where I don't have tiers on their subcrafts I can't HQ at all anymore.
