Saying something “has to be a bug” isn’t constructive and no amount of petitions or complaints will (or better yet should) action a change. You think it’s wrong? Research the mechanic and post the actual price formula as you best understand it based on the evidence you gathered. I’ll just say that the price isn’t so outrageous to be outside of the realm of possibility, but that doesn’t make it right nor wrong inherently. Only evidence based claims should be seriously considered.

Your best bet is to gather a couple of people at a seldom-used chocobo stables and watch the price climb and fall as you use it/don't use it. And invalidate your test whenever a strange comes by and uses the stable. ;_;

I'm not sure how fast things are supposed to increase or decay, but I was at the Yhoat crystal the other day, got a chocobo, ran around looking for Opo-Opo brew ??? for about 8 minutes, found it, walked back, got another one, and the price was 200 gil each time.

Probably less than 15 minutes between both chocobos.
