My main concern is the target audience is players who also play on WoW private servers, which tends to not be the type of player that would do well with this game - the community difference from here to a Vanilla private server is vastly different. Most players I've run to on WoW private servers were rude or toxic, which is not exactly something we need more of. I realize I'm generalizing but whatever.

I agree with this completely. Namely that nasomi doesn't play like a private server, it feels like a retail server, where uptime, reliability, stability, and recently population really feels top notch. Sure there are bugs, but almost nothing crippling, and there's simply no shortage of things to do. If you've only been playing a few days/weeks/months, you honestly haven't scratched the surface.

Just so I'm clear, I'm NOT doing a review video. I've not played anywhere near enough to do a video like that. It's more of an introduction to the server and FFXI as a game. It's written in a way that is designed for my sub base which are old school Warcraft players. Many of which probably have never touched FFXI before.

being brutally honest, it's not a video that will have much appeal to people that already play here. My videos are normally lighthearted and quite fun so hopefully that side will be entertaining to people here. But as far as detail and information go, you're not going to see anything you don't know, and it'll probably seem quite light. All this is why I'm positioning the video as an "Overview"

Are you guys really getting upset over free publicity? Lol. The article written on Nasomi brought in players, and an overview of Nasomi to 29,000 people will bring in some players too. Probably not very many, but definitely some. Assuming he doesn't bash the server, it'll be a good thing. At the very least, it isn't going to lose us any players.

This video will most likely get more hits than any other video on Nasomi in less than a week.

I didn't see anybody getting upset over it, just people concerned that he won't have a lot of experience to do a review of the server, which he already made clear it's not meant to be.

I'm looking forward to your video. FFXI is a game that is so different, it really needs to be explained from the perspective of someone who plays more than just FFXI to do it right.
