Players are reporting that the SMN change hasn't fixed the exploit with meteorite. Can someone please confirm? Maybe the SMN fix was accidentally not added?

edit: SMN was definitely changed, and metorite I'm being told now -is- resisting. But, it seems as if other BPs are still able to accurately and easily kill the lv 99 ToAU mobs.

You didn't need a Lu Shang or Ebisu to catch either of those fish. And Since Hakuryu don't seem to be a thing here...tbh I'd say they were worthless anyway. I'm still fishing up Black Sole and Mythril Swords in Qufim Island for gil, don't really see a benefit to fishing up much else unless you want to play the Inside The Belly lotto for rare items. Hopefully Nashmau is the only fishing hole he smacked with the nerf bat. I'm not quite prepared to undertake crafting and don't particularly want to be strong armed into it.

Wishful thinking. The scrolls NPC for what they did in retail. Besides, fishing didn't upend the economy. The change to the crafting mechanics, AH speculation (which was already being started before fishing was even on the table to be put in game), and a huge influx of players did. pulling 40k/hr - which can still be made fishing, or by any job 55+ diligently farming the right areas - is not what upended the game's economy.

Those fish that were nerfed normally caught without a legendary rod. I don't fish is nashmau, I fish on the ferry to selb-mahura.
If those prices have not been affected, this has increased the value of legendary fishing rods.

I can't wait for a smn to try to open up on a bat with meteorite now. The mob goes straight for the smn now if you try to engage with a rage BP.

Fishing 40k/hr ( which is nothing) is not why haub prices are up, it's due to the crafting change, they went from a 50% HQ rate to a 6-10% HQ rate.

ya but the botters in nashmau made it so they could afford super expensive prices with the bots in nashmau. its not fair fishermen get to make something from nothing while the rest of us farm
