Almost all mobs that aren't supposed to be able to be slept or silenced can be slept or silenced. That's definitely not intentional.

So wouldn't you say those that do it should be banned?

It's unreasonable to expect people to look up what mobs are resistant to what.

Very much unlike, say, mazurka giving you movespeed in combat.

Well it sure breaks tons of content in the game if things can be slept or silenced that should have a resistance. But I assume most people here will state the game is already unforgiving enough and whats the big deal with broken mobs that don't resist sleep or silence.

Question: Is silencing the sky gods also broken?

If you played during this era you will notice right away that these mobs should resist. Hakutaku is completely broken if you can silence the damn thing.

Didn't play enough in retail to know this or that should resist sleep or silence. I don't even know what a promy boss is. It is really good to know Sleep and Silence work better than they should, though. @_@

I would expect it to be fixed for retail accuracy someday™, like the SMN job was recently.

You’re a pretty hard line enforcer of this “intended game mechanics” rule. Sure seems like you’ve found yourself a gray area that the rest of us found a very long time ago.

The biggest problem is when things do get fixed, the ones who benefited from it still get to keep the items that were "exploited due to improper coding". Some how keeping the 1% raiders happy are more important than all the new players, /sigh. God forbid that we loose the number one HNM LS on the server, because ya know they do so much for promoting the game to new players.
