I have AoEd down a whole group of monsters, and also only hit one, so I know what you mean

Avatar AoE blood pacts just seem to be incredibly finicky in general against mobs, for example Shiva's Sleepga often doesn't hit multiple targets.

Pretty sure avatar aoe was hitting mobs claimed by others as well at some point, that's a good possible culprit if/when that was adjusted/fixed.

As far as I know, it’s been broke the entire time I’ve been here at least.

I dunno. I tested and recorded a simple thing but I lack editing tools so the video's 5mins long.

If people want the proof I can post it.

Long and short:
If its white/unclaimed it'll aoe.

If its red it won't aoe to other reds, but it'll aoe to whites.

If you have a pack of red mobs then it won't aoe to the others.
