With Nas's track record can you blame me? Just being realistic

Well ya a certain other server I think pushed him to finally do something kinda ironic its same time period as them.

These are incredibly positive news all around, for new and old players alike.

... I don't think I've ever received that much information from Nasomi about the future, like, ever. :O

My question was about a roadmap, so I think I'll go ahead and change it!

Imagine believing that a server that as recent as last week headlines their patch notes with: “Fixed issue where enmity did not reset upon death” is the reason why Nas spends hundreds of hours working on something he’s said he’s working on for a year+.

It's more likely the big population boom is what pushed these "all-of-a-sudden" updates. Especially with Ninja now playing on the server

I think you misunderstand wolf's post.

None of this has to do with the other server. It's not even a thought in nas's mind. New people, tons of them, and there has always been complaints of overcrowding, limited camps etc. ToAU's main focus, as far as Phase I goes, is to provide camps to players in those higher levels.

Remember, at the start of this year we had not 1/3 of the players we do now. And people complained back then about exp camps. Nas made changes to help alleviate it (new Tree mostly) but it's still an issue, and why not knock that out in the best way possible? No dumb sync changes, no revamped zones, just opening up ToAU.

Agreed - Like I said, I think people are underestimating how much of the leveling is actually optimally done in camps that are being unlocked, once they are unlocked.

It's almost exclusively better camps, which makes the current camps alternative camps, and thus opens a LOT of leveling... Assuming that Nas implements them correctly.


ppl frequently misunderstand my posts. No one gives a shit about Eden, lol. Go play there if you want, but my word of advice: If you like FFXI, I wouldn't delete your Nas character when you make the switch.

I still believe some existing camps need adjustment such as some areas in the dunes like the Oasis or the beaches.
The jungles and others don't appear to be the correct levels either. So excited for ENMs and the rest of COP too
