That circle looks correct to me.

The only logical conclusion I can think of is that the others are right, and sometimes his pop bugs out, which then forces players to wait until a server reset or similar. I guess I just got very lucky on my popping him last week ;-(

Piping in for a {Current Year} update, since this recently got bumped. Was able to get a 2nd Pilgrim's Wand for my alt, anyone that puts some effort into camping this NM will quickly understand that there is a crow missing, when you compare mobs in the field to the reports of PH's on ffxi websites. Realizing this fact will lead you to regularly check the Nasomi World Status page, to watch for a time when the zone has recently been reset. Then you will easily notice the missing crow to be back in it's proper place, and can simply kill that one placeholder over and over til the NM pops. GL to all trying... such a simple little low lvl drop, but pretty useful for xp on multiple jobs.
