Again, I appreciate your desire for your opinion to be worth more because you choose to participate in wasting hours of time at broken camps and I’ve realized I have shit to do until it’s fixed.. I do. I get that it feels like that means it should matter more... it just doesn’t work that way. All of our opinions matter equally, which is to say: not at all.
Dude, I'm really trying to be friendly, stop with this passive-aggressive nonsense.
Older players who have been here for years and spent hundreds of hours at HNM camps are going to have a more insightful and valuable opinion than someone who started playing 9 months ago and doesn't show up to HNMs, sorry. And to be crystal clear I'm not referring to myself, I've only been playing for a little under 2 years, and I already said I largely stopped going to HNM camps because its a horrible experience almost every time.

Otherwise, I was merely saying I appreciate your opinions and reasoning... I just find them to be the lazy way out and detrimental to the lasting health of the server that isn’t really planning on much more content beyond ToAU.
If it fixes the problem who cares if its a "lazy" solution, its a solution, reals over feels. I don't think implementing another way to obtain the drops is going to decimate the server and cause a huge downturn, why would it? I think you're really overestimating how much people care about camping and how much appeal the act of camping has. People want the drops. If we ever get Einherjar its not going to neuter the HNM scene and turn off new players who some seem to think really, really want to go stand in DA. Every HQ pop being a complete shit-show with drama and zone crashes hurts the server's image more than anything else related to HNMs or their drops.
The first half is nonsense. I wasn't being passive-aggressive, I'm sorry you read it that way. You don't need to have gone to an HNM camp, period, to say that your opinion is that force pops are a shitty solution to a stability problem with the server, and is treating symptoms instead of issues by continuing to dumb the game down. The fact that I went to HNMs for a while, realized it was a waste of time right now, and stopped going didn't inform my opinion at all. If I went to hundreds of hours of HNM camps, I'd have the same opinion. Like I said, all our opinions matter equally: Zero. This thread is a gigantic circle jerk of people pretending we have a say in the solution Nasomi is already undoubtedly deep into working on.
If you want a server to have 2,000 people on it, you should do things that help the stability. Custom content that easily crashes zones? Probably not a great idea. Continuing to not fix known and common ways to crash zones? Probably not a great idea.
I'm sorry that you seem to want this to be about something where experience is relevant, I just don't see why that would be true.
the second half I agree with. Implementing Ein would be another good solution to help.
