Thanks for being the one person to take and objective and logical approach to your response as opposed to being a nas fanboy getting offended and jumping down my throat that i'm questioning this server's rules/setup.
I'm not looking for everyone to agree, but let's at least get a conversation started without being a bunch of assholes.
The AH game is much different for people that sell consumables. If you want to move inventory without undercutting OR waiting 25 days for a market rebound, it requires listing and relisting almost constantly which is a HUGE time sink. It's to the point where if I just said "fuck it" and went back to primarily fishing for gil (which to one poster's point is BAD for the economy) I would probably make more money/hour when everything is said and done.
To the poster that said there are people willing to play the AH game: The way I see it is that there are 2 types of people that play the AH game:
1. People who drop their pants on every initial listing just to make a quick buck (from what I observe, the MAJORITY)
2. People who believe in selling an item for what it's worth at a fair price so they can make a reasonable profit for their time. (The vast minority)
Just trying to get the message out to crafters that we will all sell our shit and for a good price even without undercutting if the majority can get into the second category.
Well all make a heck of a lot more money too.
if you think that was people jumping down your throat and being assholes, I'd sincerely be concerned for your first time going outside.
All people said was that they think the current system is fine, and then some
people offered some ideas of what could be improved.
I mean... half the opposing viewpoint comments were with a smart as tone.
Thanks.
