Sync ranges make it a bit tougher to find a party, but it's still very possible. Before sync ranges you couldn't make anything to sell beyond level 30, there was zero market to sell anything because no one synced above 30.

Moghouse was removed because it was horrible. Nas has offered a bunch of ways to ease the burden of finding parties, the biggest being SEACOM. If you're not using it, you're not using the tools that nas has provided, so how can you complain?

What is SEACOM?

Aka cure swaps. Swapping gear(e.g. swapping to -hp and then to +hp gear, or just +hp gear) to give yourself HP to cure and gain enmity, both cumulative and volatile, without getting hit or hitting a mob.

I don't see how that's cheating.

This is a terrible thread because it lacks constructive arguments. There were a lot more cheaters running rampant on the server one year ago as well. If you were going to question the TH changes, you should question the timing of the change if anything. Why did it take three years after the fact? That is a legitimate argument one could make because it did provide a huge advantage to the earlier players of the server.
The Dynamis complaint is just flatout bad, he didn't even know those zones weren't asking for 50k when he put a 50k fee on dynamis. Dreamland zones should have been taking money the whole time.

As for the level 20 sync complaint, what solution do you propose without nerfing blms across the board? I've said before, never been a fan of the 20 level sync gap(at the time) but I see WHY it was put in. How do you stop a 75RDM for kneel aggroing or tagging 1 mob for linking purposes and use cure cheats to build aggro? Keep in mind, after awhile the aggro is established to the point blms can spam aga kill them with no fear of ever pulling hate? There is no way Nasomi was going to allow people to hit 75 in just a few days and also having people flood the IRC channel with complaints over power pull parties. I also believe those type of parties were also causing server cluster wide lag.

Easily. He could have put an exp cut in place to reduce the exp of people syncing down past a point. This would have stopped people from dinging 75 in places they shouldn't have. For example, -2% exp per level you sync past 15. If a level 50 syncs down to level 20, they would receive an exp cut of 50-20-15 = 15 * 2% = 30%.

Or you know...he could have fixed blm a long time ago. Blm is clearly way stronger than it's supposed to be. Let's face it, Nas would have fixed them if he could.

Ya it's pretty obvious with his posts he's just out to try and counter every negative post he can. It's like he's rewarded for it or something even if it's false positive. Most people complaining are newer or mid range people that don't already have multiple 75s and millions of gil, and endless time to play, so when he tries to jump in and defend the server I don't ever take his posts seriously. It's easy to defend level sync and TH change when you already leveled up the jobs you wanted and farmed the gear you need. I'm sure most kinda see that too though.

Pepsi's post is not wrong.

He does not sell highly-sought-after stuff, and yet, in Sept alone:
124k worth of stuff on Pepsi
100k+ (can't scroll down far enough!) for Sprite

I consider this truck-loads for someone who listed the items that sold in that month nearly a full month prior, or over a month in many cases, and never plays actively. That is, he is not adjusting prices for the econ, isn't listing new items, and yet he still made probably 250k in one month.

Yes, that is truckloads for someone who isn't sitting there trying to farm up stuff that sells. Please take the context of who Pepsi is in consideration. He is not actively trying to make a buck, and yet, still does.

The original point made which he was attempting to counter was that ah sales as a whole have been on the decline, which is the truth. And this is all I see him doing on the forums, making false counter points to real problems or derailing threads to talk about things not intended by the starters.
