I'm all for an easier way to browse the ah or view the quick links. the website isn't super mobile friendly on a 5" screen, lots of "stuff" that could be omitted on a mobile device. But it is what it is. Someone wants to make it easier, i'm all for it. But i probably wouldn't log into my account with it unless it is a nasomi product.

Most under appreciated line in this thread. If the app in question is against the rules in nasomi's opinion, then this thread is breaking the rules.

IMO a mobile friendly quick links viewer is not something I believe Nas will care about until it starts trying to do more. So you should prob drop anyone logging into any accounts.

However, the fate of this thread is your best indication regardless of what any of us say.

I appreciate Nabutso saying that I'm obviously wrong the post immediately prior to Pepsi agreeing with me.

Either way, what I said is 100% accurate. Do whatever you want OP.

I, too, will never understand how you don't realize that the rules are so vague that I just choose to offer the most reasonable advice and move on.

I don't know how to break this to you... but you actually don't enforce any of the rules. I'm sure everyone appreciates your opinion on the rules.

I also never said Nas would be fine with it. He absolutely would just tell you no, because that's quicker than actually considering your request. I was suggesting if that bothers you, to find a new project.. That's all. If it doesn't, godspeed.

Never said ignore the rule, I said apply the rule logically and move forward with it not applying to an app on your phone that acts as a better way to browse this website. if you want to request permission, I can save you the time. Otherwise, you can treat it like other 3rd party applications that people use in support of the game that shouldn’t logically fall under the rule you posted... and see how it goes.

Obviously at your own risk, like with anything.

What's next, alerts for specific jobs showing up in the party finder? For an item you want showing up in the bazaars? Or the AH? Did you already forget pepsi about the player tracking, player rating, irc log, and other useful things made that have mysteriously disappeared?

Do you not see what kind of advantage this can give players and why it's never been allowed to 'make use' of the data on the website?

"3rd party apps" doesn't refer to bots in-game only - ignoring that has gotten our privilege to information taken away more than once. Please don't put what little we have left at risk.
