I for one am against punishing players for playing the game fairly within the bounds of Nasomi. It's too bad that level of playtime would be considered for a roll back based on this content update.

I don't think we should be rolling back things. That ship sailed a long time ago, and people took actions based on that ship sailing. That's all I ever said. I could care less about my hachi body, I hardly use it.

If you can't find the irony in a bunch of vets saying, "You should have known better acquiring things in a manner that wasn't accurate to retail" though, lord. I can't help you.

Not really. It shows what the player base believes. And as someone who both cares about the context this represents and the encoding this represents, as well as talking to people on the forums, in game, and naschat, this is profound in on itself.

But now let's take this a step further. Take away this fact and culture studies, as yes this is a digital culture, we have to now enter quantitative analysis. This 150+ people that took to this thread that Nas was watching is enough data to stratify and create a model to understand server behavior as there is enough people who took the survey to do so. I am sure if I were to do that, I could scale it easy. This isn't hard AT ALL. The joke isn't on anyone AT ALL. There is a problem and the player base that has been actively voicing their opinion has spoken.

We need to fix this problem, I agree. But the solution isn't easy. It's a lose lose situation no matter what way you look at it. Plain and simple.
