I'm going to pretext this post with the fact that I'm not nearly as seasoned as other people in this thread; I have not seen the evolution of it and been able to watch it grow into what it has become.

That being said, I think there is a tremendous reaction to the changes that were made - and the side effects are quite obvious. I don't think this glitch warrants the opening of floodgates of other shit wrong with the server. Like seriously? It's 1 dude who is passionate about the game trying to create fun things for you and make things fair for everyone. 1 guy that pays to keep the server running for a bunch of people that just complain about how broken the server is while having zero understanding of the programming involved and/or the ramifications of making such changes that are being called for. Just give him some time and be grateful for the experience that he has brought us, and the friends we've made along the way. show maybe a little gratitude for what you do have instead of bitching about the shit you don't have. Just the opinion of some random dude on the internet, so...whatever don't get butt hurt

Everyone knows this.

We just don't see the logic in playing on a broken patch for 3 months while it is fixed, instead of just rolling back to the last working one.

I'm still just sitting here wondering why he's sitting there coding all of this stuff alone. If I were him I'd take a month off of coding and do volunteer applications for coders that he could do some vetting in. There are plenty of actual coders and programmers who play on the server, and many of us have coded for DSP before. Heck even if he just wanted people to line check his code it would help so much. Nasomi really needs to trust 2-4 people and get a team together to tackle projects. and this server would be 20 time better if he did.

Fishing fixes or updates? Updates to gear and stuff would be awesome.

Also someone else mentioned like an alternate trade in quest for broken AF quests. Would this even be possible?

Fishing fix means no freezing when canceling etc.

Nas doesn't do 'alternative' fixes (the only bug he tried doing those for is autohp). Of course it's possible, but he doesn't do that.
