Another reason people hung out in Jeuno that people haven't mentioned: Outpost warps didn't exist until 2005(?) and habits are not easy to break.

Why shout for a Tele when you can just OP and get to most locations just as fast?

Let's get rid of op warps and go ancient-school! Then I have an excuse to make Rabao or Kazham my permanent residence. This will also improve the economy as whm can now make bank teleporting people! /s/nots

I was off in my dates - they were added in December 2003, earlier than I remembered. Still, my point stands - they were added after launch.

I remember always just using the Qufim outpost warp to get to Jeuno. Although I thought the outpost was at the flag at the end of the tunnel but I guess its at delkfutt tower so now I may be remembering incorrectly. I thought there was something at that first flag.

D: I just started playing about a month ago and joined Windurst not knowing about the population per nation. Thankfully now that Windy has taken most the OPs I will never need to shout for teleports. Just a little insight... not all new players are going to have the OPs unlocked.

I started in February have all but 2, buddeh. Just stick around long enough and get them when they're available.

Seconded for a jeuno warp. There is no convenient place to bazaar as bazaaring requires a centralized location for the game. There isn't one. Ever since we lost the nasboat, and to a lesser extent nascircut, my bazaar sales have been neutered to the point where I barely even log in my bazaar mule anymore, which is funny considering the population is about 3x as much as back then (Just look at the new player introductions, a page full of them for only 3 rl days worth, and that's not counting people who join but don't post).

To add on to this but not from a bazaar-focused mindset. Jeuno is just sad and depressing when everyone there isn't actually there, they're just afk mules. Not having a central hub really hurts the community aspect. Shouting in bastok/windy for stuff just isn't the same.
